Beef Noodle Casserole


1 pound lean ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

2 teaspoons olive oil

2 teaspoons minced garlic

Salt and pepper to taste

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

12 ounces egg noodles, cooked as directed

1 can (16 ounces) tomato sauce

2 cups grated cheese, cheddar is what I use

Fresh parsley as a garnish


Cook pasta according to directions, rinse and drain

Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in olive oil.

Sprinkle with Italian seasoning

Mix the tomato sauce and salt and pepper to taste

Combine the pasta with the beef mixture and mix well

Place in a buttered gratin dish

Preheat the oven to 400*

Sprinkle the two cups of grated cheese on top

Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is completely melted

Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley when done
