Sausage Egg & Cheese Biscuit Casserole


1 pound minced pork sausage

1 cup Italian 5-cheese blend, grated

4 large eggs

3/4 cup whipped cream

1 tablespoon of dried thyme

1 teaspoon garlic salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

10 ounces can butter cookies to taste


Prepare the oven and preheat it to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Apply cooking spray to an 11×8-inch baking dish.

Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Add sausage and cook until crumbly and brown. Drain any excess oil.

Transfer the cooked sausage and cheese to the greased baking dish.

In a bowl, add the cream, eggs, garlic salt, thyme and pepper. Whisk until well blended.

Pour the mixture over the sausages and cheese.

Spread the cookies over everything.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until cooked through.

Remove from the oven and cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.

Return it to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes.

Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature for at least 15 minutes.

Serve and enjoy!
